Dr. Nicole Lohr is the Medical Director of Cardiovascular Clinical Trials for the Medical College of Wisconsin and serves as Chief of Cardiology at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Dr. Lohr enthusiastically leverages technology in her practice and embraces the opportunity and change that advances in telemedicine and remote patient monitoring bring to healthcare, especially cardiology.

Dr. Lohr says that in a sense, telecardiology and remote patient monitoring let the doctor make house calls once again. “We’re basically saying that where the doctor came to your house in the past, it’s now cool to go back to that kind of thinking. It’s personal, but in a different way. It’s using technology to get back to keeping everything local, and I just find that appealing.”
